Bolt Mounted Clamps Manufacturers in India
Bolt-Mounted Clamps Manufacturers in India
Bolt-Mounted Our TUV/ISO 9001:2015 Certified Facility in Mumbai/Vasai serves EPC contractors, OEM fabricators, and maintenance teams across oil & gas, HVAC, marine, power generation, pharmaceutical, chemical, and industrial sectors. Our bolt-mounted clamps are manufactured according to DIN 3015 Parts 1 & 2 and DIN 3567, with an anchor design based on EN 1992-4 and ETAG 001.
What Are Bolt Mounted Clamps?
Bolt-mounted clamps are DIN 3015 tube support assemblies designed to fasten tubes directly to concrete, steel, or masonry using through-bolts, cast-in bolts, mechanical expansion anchors, or chemical anchors. Unlike conventional systems, they eliminate the need for an intermediate strut channel or weld plate. This provides faster installation and reduces strut deflection, rail slippage, and site welding. On multi-tube runs, direct anchoring can typically save 30–50% of installation time.
A typical assembly includes a two-piece DIN 3015 clamp body, an EPDM or NBR liner, a heavy-duty base plate, and high-tensile fasteners. Base plates can be supplied with standard holes, existing bolt patterns, or custom anchor arrangements. Available tube OD sizes range from 6 mm to 219 mm ex-stock, with pressure ratings up to 400 bar for selected Heavy Series applications.
Types of Bolt-Mounted Clamps
We supply single-bolt, double-bolt, concrete anchor, beam-mounted, heavy series, rubber-lined, and stainless steel bolt-mounted clamps. Materials include SS 304, SS 316/316L, carbon steel, duplex 2205, Hastelloy C-276, and HDG steel. Custom base plates can also be drilled according to client foundation drawings.
Single-bolt Light Series clamps are suitable for smaller instrument and pneumatic lines, while double-bolt and Heavy Series designs are used for hydraulic and process piping. SS 316L is recommended for marine, chemical, and pharmaceutical environments, while Duplex 2205 is suitable for severe chloride and coastal conditions.
Technical Specifications
Our bolt-mounted clamps follow DIN 3015 Part 1 & 2, DIN 3567, ISO 8434-1, ASTM, BS, and ASME B31.3 requirements. Anchor design can follow EN 1992-4, ETAG 001, and ASTM E488 testing requirements. Standard sizes cover 6–219 mm OD. Light Series clamps can support applications up to 100 bar, while Heavy Series clamps can reach up to 400 bar for suitable small ODs.
Clamp materials include SS 304, SS 316/316L, carbon steel, duplex 2205, Hastelloy C-276, and aluminum 6061-T6 for light-load applications. Liners are available in NBR, EPDM, neoprene, FKM, PTFE, PA6, and polypropylene. Hardware options include zinc-plated carbon steel, A2-70, A4-80, duplex, and Hastelloy grades.
Size, Load, and Anchor Options
Indicative clamp capacities range from approximately 8 kN for 6–12 mm tube OD assemblies to approximately 75 kN for 219 mm OD assemblies, depending on the base plate, anchor size, substrate, and installation method. Typical anchor sizes range from M10 to M24. Actual load capacity must always be verified against concrete class, steel thickness, anchor manufacturer's approval, and installation conditions.
Anchor options include mechanical expansion anchors, undercut anchors, chemical adhesive anchors, cast-in headed studs, beam clamps, and through-bolts. Chemical anchors are particularly suitable for cracked concrete, seismic applications, and installations close to edges. Cast-in anchors are recommended for new concrete foundations where maximum capacity is required.
Material Grades
SS 304 provides good corrosion resistance for indoor HVAC and mild industrial and food-processing applications. SS 316/316L offers improved chloride resistance and is preferred for marine, offshore, pharmaceutical, and chemical environments. Carbon steel is economical for dry service when suitable protective coating is provided. Duplex 2205 offers superior resistance to chloride pitting for coastal and subsea applications. HDG steel provides good outdoor structural protection, while Hastelloy C-276 is selected for demanding chemical and acidic environments.
Industry Applications
Bolt Mounted Clamps are used across oil & gas, hydraulic systems, HVAC, pharmaceutical, marine, offshore, power generation, chemical processing, food and beverage, automotive and OEM applications. Typical uses include compressor skid foundations, pipe racks, chilled-water risers, cleanroom brackets, process piping, turbine foundation piping, dosing skids, module pipe racks and test-cell pipe supports.
How to Choose the Right Clamp
Selection should consider tube outer diameter, operating pressure, substrate class, anchor type, load condition, vibration, corrosion environment and applicable standards. The clamp must match the exact tube OD rather than nominal bore. Light Series designs are generally selected for applications up to 100 bar, while Heavy Series clamps are used for higher-pressure and vibration-sensitive services.
For concrete installations, the substrate and embedment depth must be considered. Cracked or seismic concrete generally requires an approved chemical or suitable undercut anchor. Dynamic applications require appropriate safety factors and liner selection. NBR is suitable for oil and hydraulic service, while EPDM is preferred for steam and ozone environments.
Anchor Torque and Common Failures
Correct anchor torque is essential. Typical torque values range from 40–50 Nm for M10 and 65–80 Nm for M12 Grade 8.8 carbon-steel expansion anchors, increasing to approximately 350–420 Nm for M24. Actual torque must follow the anchor manufacturer's certified installation schedule.
Common failures include anchor pull-out, concrete edge failure, galvanic corrosion, under-torqued anchors, chemical-anchor curing problems and liner extrusion. These issues can be reduced through correct anchor selection, proper edge distance, compatible materials, calibrated torque tools and manufacturer-approved installation procedures.
Quality and Certifications
Every order undergoes documented quality checks, including PMI for stainless materials, dimensional inspection, base-plate flatness checks, bolt testing, pull-out testing, DIN 3015 dimensional verification, critical weld inspection and heat/batch traceability. EN 10204 3.1 MTC is standard, with 3.2 documentation available on request. Certifications and documentation include ISO 9001:2015, MSME registration, CE marking, PED documentation and NACE MR0175 certification where required.
